The ACCI Objectives:

• serve the professional interests of its members by delivering high quality services and promoting the interests of the profession of a language interpreter
• to be a forum for all qualified interpreters globally
• provide accredited interpreting qualifications and set standards for interpreting profession
• be a recognised body promoting the interpreting profession, both in the UK and internationally
• provide informed advice to the governments, other bodies and organisations engaged in making strategies and policies affecting language interpreting
• promotion of the regulation of the profession of a language interpreter through initiatives and the creation and maintenance of the global register of qualified language interpreters
• Anything incidental or conducive of the above objects
